Chairman's Profile

Mr. Hasan Abdullah Ismaik has an extensive experience spanning over 20 years in real estate development, construction and other sectors.

From August 2012 to mid 2014, Mr. Ismaik was member of the Board and subsequently, the CEO of Arabtec Holding, the largest UAE listed construction company operating in the MENA region. Under Mr. Ismaik’s leadership, the company witnessed a leap in performance as well as international recognition. It was awarded many iconic projects, such as the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi. During his tenure, Arabtec’s market capitalization increase from AED 3.7 billion (USD 1 billion) to AED 32.2 billion (USD 8.8 billion).

Additionally, Mr. Ismaik is Chairman of Jordan Masaken for Land and Industrial Projects Development (Masaken Capital) and Chairman of the German sports club TSV 1860 Munich and formerly Vice Chairman for Al Manara International Jewellery.
 
In line with Marya Group’s values, Mr. Ismaik is an active philanthropist recognized as such by the Red Crescent.
 
In 2013, Mr. Ismaik was ranked first in the “Construction Week” magazine top 100 most influential people in the construction sector and in 2014, he was named one of the most influential business persons in the Middle East by “MEED” magazine.
